Janet Priest Jones finished hiking the Appalachian Trail in June '08: Georgia to Maine, 2175 miles
Along with a wonderful group of women I section-hiked and backpacked the AT for 5 years before finally reaching our goal of completing the entire Appalachian Trail. This photo was taken two months later, in August '08 after revisiting Baxter State Park and hiking the infamous Knife Edge from Pamola Peak to Baxter Peak. It's been a grand adventure! Next goal is to climb the 115 4000' peaks in the Northeast - only 10 to go! Regards to all, love Janet
